Rest and Work...

Jonathan had his friends over again this afternoon, Feb. 24. That night he was tired. He asked to "read" some books in his bed, and this is how I found him a little later. HeeHee! He really likes Graeme Base's books...the one he is hugging is Animalia.
Then the snow and cool weather hit again. Michael and the kids brought more firewood up to the house. They really like riding in the wheelbarrow...
...and on Daddy!

Do ya think?

Do you think they see us on the computer too much?

But when Daddy comes home, there are camel rides for everyone! WooHoo!

Smiles and books after a bath (notice Annisia is reading the Big Machines book?!)

The kids outside for awhile one morning. I couldn't resist this pic. Annisia looks like she is so bored, thank you! They are enjoying their snack after a little bike riding.

We have a Visitor!

Aunty Leilani is here for a week. Guess what she "gets" to do a lot of? Yep! Reading! Both to herself and to the kids. Yay! She's even said she'll babysit some so I can get some things done. Double Yay!

Family, Facials, Fraternizing, Phat!

Well, we finally took a family pic again. Annisia and I were both wearing red checks last Sunday. Daddy and Jonathan often wear browns and greens... This is taken in front of our bulging, heavily loaded plum tree. Want some?!

I'll never do this again. I made malt o' meal for breakfast one morning. Annisia prides herself in her spoon abilities. The truth of the matter is, she uses it a little, decides it's not fast enough, and starts shoveling it in with her little hands! So, ladies, this is how you do a malt o' meal facial. Yup, she had to have a bath to get the cemented cereal off her face and out of her hair.

Jonathan hanging out on the morning of his 3rd birthday. He was pleasantly sharing the couch with Annisia, enjoying books.

Later, we went outside. It was chilly. Annisia had already gotten her windbreaker wet playing in Bella's water bowl, so I had to grab one of Jonathan's coats. She also has on a pair of 18 month warm up pants...to big, too. We decided she looks like a little gangsta girl! That's where "phat" came in.

What have we been doing?

What have we been doing, you ask? Why haven't we posted anything for SO long? Well, things just get a little nuts here sometimes, and I can't get on the computer to get anything done. SO! Here's a little catch-up again.
Annisia discovered the bookshelf...
And fell one day and got a fat lip...
We go out to the sandbox often these days. She isn't so sure about wet sand, but overall, I think she likes playing there.
Jonathan loves the "ladder" Daddy put up for him. It is a piece of railing we removed from our deck when we added on. It's a great ladder and Jonathan likes to go to the top! Here he is using his outside voice; most vociferously, I might add!
