Happy Birthday, Lana!

The title says it all! Renee and I drove up to Sheridan where Lana, Rosa and Lisa work. We then surprised Lana at work and 'napped her for dinner and a bit of shopping. I got a new trendy purse out of the deal. That's what happens when you have trendy friends!

This is the frame I decorated for Lana for a b'day gift. It turned out really cute.

My latest fun...

Last spring at MOPS, we did a craft I really enjoyed. We decorated a photo matte. They had laid out scrapbooking paper, stickers, stamps, etc. I wish I had a photo of the one I did then, but it's at my in-laws. Maybe I'll get a pic of it. Anyways, I decided to do some for family. This is the frame I chose for my parents. This is what it looked like before I started...

...and this is the finished product. If you click on the picture, you may be able to see where I used a stamp pad to distress the matte. It looks really cool.

This is the one I did for my sister and bro-in-law.

And this is the one I did for Uncle Lowell. He doesn't have a computer, so he rarely gets to see what I post on the blog. I am terrible about sending photos to family, so the poor guy needs an occasional Annisia and Jonathan fix.
